Best way to learn MAC OS X

While there is no better way to learn than reading a good book, I discovered about an year ago that video learnings are also great resources to learn. This approach worked for me when I had the first contact with MAC OS X.

Most of the people are accustomed with a PC and Windows OS, but MAC is not Windows. MAC is more like Linux and if you don’t approach your first MAC computer with an open mind, the risk to reject it is high. The user interface is not the same, the terminology and the concept behind the scene are distinct. And I promise you, once you learn the basic terminology and the concept you will never want to work on a PC again.

I remember I was very enthusiastic and eager to start Swift development, to install an application server, to deploy my J2EE apps on it. I couldn’t wait a week to read a book, so I had to fast brush up on the basics. Half a day I watched various videos on youtube about how to used a MAC and how to organize stuff on a MAC. That was all I needed to be become familiar with my MAC.

Following are the most three helpful videos in your journey to learn MAC OS X. Enjoy !

Besides those videos I found very helpful this keyboard shortcuts.
